KIEV, July 18 – Ukraine will intensify its participation in international peacekeeping and anti-piracy operations, National Security and Defense Council Secretary Andriy Kliuyev said.

This year, Ukraine will send its aircraft to patrol the seas as part of the EU's Operation Atalanta, and next year the Ukrainian naval frigate Hetman Sahaidachny, with a helicopter and a special task force group on board, will take part in NATO's anti-piracy operation Ocean Shield off the coast of Somalia, the NSDC press service reported.
