KIEV, May 4 - High-speed trains in Ukraine are to be launched on May 27, Ukrzaliznytsia Deputy Director General Ihor Hladkykh said.

According to Hladkykh, the new high-speed trains are now being tested, but he noted that the price of tickets for these trains would be announced on May 24-25.

Infrastructure Minister Borys Kolesnikov saidit was planned to launch high-speed rail traffic in Ukraine on May 20. In December 2011, Kolesnikov forecast that Hyundai high-speed trains would start running from May 15, 2012.
