NOVO-OGARYOVO, May 3 - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has commented on the refusal by some European politicians to travel to the European football championship over the case against Ukrainian ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and reassured that Russia would be glad to provide her with medical treatment if she considers it possible.

"Regarding the European football championship, I think that one should by no means mix politics, business and other issues such as sports, sports should be left alone," Putin told reporters on Thursday.
