Journal Staff Report

KIEV, March 30 - Ukraine’s planned liquefied natural gas terminal will receive its first shipments of LNG in 2016, almost a year later originally planned, as the government seeks to expand the project.

Vladyslav Kaskiv, the head of the Investment and National Projects Management Agency, said Friday that President Viktor Yanukovych had last week expanded the role of the agency to include securing alternative LNG supplies.
