KIEV, Dec. 19 - Prime Minister Mykola Azarov within days, possibly on Tuesday, will hold talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin over lowering natural gas prices, a senior official said Monday.
Serhiy Lovochkin, the chief of staff at President Viktor Yanukovych’s administration, said that Yanukovych will travel to Moscow on Tuesday for talks with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, but will mostly focus on other trade issues.
“Within days, Mykola Yanovych [Azarov] will hold a new round of talks with Putin,” Liovochkin said. “Perhaps, it will take place tomorrow.”
