KIEV, Dec. 14 - Interpipe Novomoskovsky pipe plant has implemented this year's largest project on energy efficiency improvement by commissioning a new turbine compressor produced by Samsung Techwin Company (South Korea).

The company says that this new equipment, with higher energy efficiency, decreases annual electricity consumption by three million kilowatts, which amount to approximately $265,000 a year (based on current electric energy prices). The total investment into the project amounts to $600,000.
