TOKYO, Jan. 19 - Ukraine is interested in the presence of Japanese businesses in all branches of its economy, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said.

"I want to emphasize once again that Ukraine is very interested in the presence of Japanese businesses in all branches of our economy and in the development of the Ukrainian market by Japanese companies," he said at the opening of the first Ukrainian-Japanese investment seminar, entitled "Investment Opportunities in Ukraine," in Tokyo on Wednesday.
