KIEV, Dec. 15 – Ukraine International Airlines has asked the Ukrainian authorities not to allow the failure of the privatization of a state-owned stake in its statutory capital and provide equal access for all domestic air carriers to the country's airports.
According to an open letter from the airline sent to Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and Head of the State Property Fund Oleksandr Riabchenko, the carrier was surprised that Dniproavia airline intends to take part in the UIA's privatization and pay UAH 516.841 million for the stake.
