KIEV, July 7 - Natural gas transit through Ukraine to Europe and the CIS in January-June 2010 amounted to 50.982 billion cubic meters (bcm), which is 30.5% (or 11.903 bcm) up on 2009, Ukrtransgaz, a subsidiary of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, has reported.
According to Ukrtransgaz, transit to Western Europe grew by 31.2%, to 49.29 bcm, to the CIS by 13.1%, to 1.693 bcm.
Ukrtransgaz in January-June transported 28.013 bcm to Ukrainian consumers, which is 18.7% up on 2009.
