KIEV, March 23 – Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has promised to send UAH 150 million to Mariupol Illich Steel Mill for VAT that is to be reimbursed by tax bodies for exported products, the mill's director general andchairman, Volodymyr Boiko said.
"In March, the state promises to return UAH 150 million to us. At present, the budget has a large deficit, but the agreement that VAT would be returned to the mill every month has been reached. The government is to determine how the debt would be returned," Boiko said at a meeting of heads and major specialists of the mill, commenting the results of a meeting with the premier held in Kiev last week.
