NATO seeks new relationship with Ukraine
BRUSSELS, June 15 - NATO defense ministers gathered Thursday to discuss future relations with Ukraine as Russia’s war on the country thwarts its hopes of joining the world’s biggest security alliance soon, The Associated Press reported.

Ukraine may lose 14% of vegetable crops after Kakhovka HPP destruction
KYIV, June 15 – The blowing up of the dam of Kakhovka hydroelectric power station by Russian invaders carries the risk of losing 10-14% of the vegetable crop due to flooding or disruption of irrigation, but the National Bank of Ukraine estimates this figure at 5%, Deputy Governor of the NBU Sergiy Nikolaychuk said.

Ukraine’s economy has been gradually recovering after March collapse
KYIV, June 15 – Ukraine’s economy has been gradually recovering in May after most of the fighting with Russian troops has shifted to eastern part of the country, allowing many businesses to reopen, a senior official at the National Bank of Ukraine said.
The economy was estimated to contract between 35% and 40% on the year in May, an improvement from a 44% contraction in March, when Russian troops had been pursuing offensive on multiple fronts, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Serhiy Nikolaychuk said.

KYIV, June 15 - Ukraine ignored a Russian ultimatum to surrender the eastern city of Sievierodonetsk on Wednesday as the United States announced more weapons for Kyiv, which warned that arms deliveries were taking too long, Reuters reported.

KYIV, June 15 – Since the beginning of the decentralization reform in 2015, local budget revenues have significantly grown, however, answering the question whether they felt any results of using these funds in improving the quality of services, provision of urban amenities, social assistance during this time, 51% of Ukrainians noted that they hadn't felt any changes.

Almost half Ukrainians plan to get vaccinated against COVID-19, poll shows
KYIV, June 15 – Almost every second Ukrainian plans to be vaccinated against coronavirus, while 19% of citizens intend to do this in the near future, the same number plan to be vaccinated later, another 10% will be vaccinated only when they have to do it for formal reasons, according to the results of the survey entitled "Attitude of Ukrainian citizens to vaccination against COVID-19," held by the Razumkov Center from May 21 to May 26.
