Ukraine reports record high COVID-19 deaths

KYIV, March 17 - Ukraine registered a record daily high of 289 coronavirus-related deaths over the past 24 hours, leading the prime minister to urge local authorities to impose stronger restrictions to contain its spread, Reuters reported.


40% of Ukrainians ready to join rallies, but 48% are not, poll indicates

KYIV, March 16 – In Ukraine, about 40% of citizens are ready to take part in sanctioned rallies and demonstrations. Of these, 14% are confident that they will participate, 26% are likely to participate, according to the results of a survey conducted by the Razumkov Center in March 2021.
