Russia diverts troops from Ukraine to Kursk

Group propose new sanctions on firms supplying components to Russia
KYIV, Aug 17 – The McFaul-Yermak Group will soon publish additional proposals to strengthen sanctions against companies and individuals that, bypassing sanctions, supply Russia with high-tech components for production of weapons, in particular K-52 helicopters, head of the President's Office of Ukraine Andriy Yermak said.

U.S. approves sending F-16 to Ukraine
WASHINGTON, Aug 17 - The United States has approved sending F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine from Denmark and the Netherlands to defend against Russian invaders as soon as pilot training is completed, Reuters reported Thursday citing a U.S. official.

Moldova seeks to modernize railway to help Ukraine export more grain
KYIV, Aug 17 - Moldova has started active cooperation with Ukraine, Romania and donor organizations to modernize its railway infrastructure in order to help Ukraine increase agricultural exports to Moldova, the countries of the European Union, the Middle East and Africa, said Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu.
