KYIV, Aug 16 – The probability of Russia's recognition as a state-sponsor of terrorism is high, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said in the program Visiting Dmytro Hordon.
When asked how likely it is that Russia will be recognized as a terrorist state, Kuleba said: "Great. The longer the war lasts, the more likely it will happen."
He noted that all over the world the status of a state-sponsor of terrorism is a political stigma, but in the United States this status entails specific legal consequences. The promotion of this issue, according to the Foreign Minister, is personally controlled by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, "he has identified it as a priority."
