Troops and rebels locked in fierce fight

KIEV, June 19 - Ukrainian troops and pro-Russian separatists were locked in fierce fighting in the east of Ukraine on Thursday and a rebel commander acknowledged big losses among separatists heavily outgunned by government forces.

KIEV, June 19 – Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has called for development of the Ukrainian version of Euronews.

"We want to see the development of relations with Euronews, and would like information about Ukraine to be objective first of all.
