EU launches EU4Digital supporting digital economy in Ukraine

KYIV, May 22 – The European Union officially launched EU4Digital, a new program supporting the digital economy and society in Ukraine.

EU4Digital is a regional program for the Eastern Partnership countries, which will last from January 2019 to December 2021, funded by the European Union in the amount of EUR 11 million and another EUR 1 million from the World Bank.


Ukrainians lean toward NATO membership, opinion poll indicates

KYIV, May 22 – Ukrainians are mostly supporting the country's accession to NATO, if the referendum was held in the near future.

According to a survey of the sociological group 'Rating', as of March 2018, 43% of Ukrainians - for Ukraine's membership in NATO and 33% against. Some 7% would not vote on the measure, and 18% are undecided.
