Ukraine records negative population growth rate through Sept. 30
KIEV, Nov. 24 – Ukraine's population, not including temporarily occupied Crimea, has dropped to 42,973,696 people as of October 1, 2014, with the resident population standing at 42,804,059 people, according to a report on the demographic situation issued by the State Statistics Service. |
Lithuania agrees to provide military supplies to Ukraine Armed Forces
KIEV, Nov. 24 – Lithuania has agreed to provide arms to Ukrainian soldiers, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko reported.
"We arranged about the military-technical cooperation, definite supplies of the definite military equipment for Ukraine Armed Forces. I think that this is a specific demonstration of the support," the president said during a joint press conference with Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite in Kiev on Monday. |
