Poroshenko asks NATO assembly for 'urgent and effective support'

BRUSSELS, Nov. 24 - Ukraine needs, first and foremost, the protection of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, the strengthening of defense capabilities and democratic institutions, and the implementation of the necessary political and economic reforms, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said in his address to the delegates of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

Lithuania agrees to provide military supplies to Ukraine Armed Forces

KIEV, Nov. 24 – Lithuania has agreed to provide arms to Ukrainian soldiers, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko reported.
