IMF reduces Ukraine’s economic growth forecast to 3.2% of GDP in 2021

KYIV, Nov 24 - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has downgraded its estimate of Ukraine's GDP growth in 2021 to 3.2%, compared with 3.5% in the October forecast, according to Ukraine's memorandum with the fund, released on November 24.

Parliament approves 2019 budget with deficit set at 2.3% of GDP

KYIV, Nov 23 – Parliament passed a bill on the national budget of Ukraine for 2019 with the deficit within 2.3% of Ukraine's GDP.

"The budget remains balanced and realistic. The deficit is within 2.3% of GDP. This will enable us to confidently enter 2019," Finance Minister Oksana Markarova said.
