Russia performs secret work at nuke plant

KYIV, Oct 25 - Ukraine’s nuclear energy operator said Tuesday that Russian forces were performing secret work at Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, activity that could shed light on Russia’s claims that the Ukrainian military is preparing a “provocation” involving a radioactive device.


World Bank transfers $500-mln to support Ukrainian government

KYIV, Oct 25 – The World Bank has transferred an additional $500 million to Ukraine to support basic government and address immediate needs arising from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the new tranche increased the amount of funds already provided to Ukraine through the World Bank to $11.4 billion.
