Ukraine records negative population growth rate through Sept. 30

KIEV, Nov. 24 – Ukraine's population, not including temporarily occupied Crimea, has dropped to 42,973,696 people as of October 1, 2014, with the resident population standing at 42,804,059 people, according to a report on the demographic situation issued by the State Statistics Service.
