Ukrainian government asks IMF to resume $15.2 bln loan
KIEV, Nov. 2 – The Ukrainian government asked the International Monetary Fund to resume $15.2 billion lending program, but the parties are yet to discuss conditions, Gerry Rice, director of the IMF External Relations Department, said.
"Obviously, Ukraine has just had an election, so we look forward to engaging with the new government," Rice said at a press briefing in Washington, Interfax reported. |
