Ukrainian, Lithuanian and Polish parliamentarians to meet next month
KIEV, Sept. 7 – A meeting of the interparliamentary assembly of Ukraine, Lithuania, and Poland will be held this October.
This issue was discussed at a meeting of speaker of the Ukrainian parliament Volodymyr Lytvyn and speaker of the Lithuania parliament Irena Degutiene on Monday.

Security Service questions Batkivschyna Party official in RUE case
KIEV, Sept. 8 – The Security Service has questioned First Deputy Batkivschyna Party head Oleksandr Turchynov as a witness in the case on the customs registration of 11 billion cubic meters of natural gas owned by the Swiss-registered gas trader RosUkrEnergo, according to a court ruling. |
Russia reported mulling $2b Ukraine loan

PM: Naftogaz Ukrayiny to purchase 32 bcm of natural gas next year
KIEV, Sept. 7 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny is to buy 32 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas from OJSC Gazprom in 2010, which is a similar volume to gas purchases in 2009 but lower than the 52 bcm stipulated in the contract for 2009-2019, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said. |
President calls for integration of aircraft sector with world
KIEV, Sept. 7 - President Viktor Yushchenko said he supports the accelerated integration of Ukrainian aircraft manufacturing into the world aircraft industry, and assigning additional funds for purchasing domestic aircraft through the state leasing company.

PM summoned for questioning in poisoning
