KIEV, Sept. 8 – The split between President Viktor Yushchenko and Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has been spreading to the regions as Our Ukraine on Monday called on its followers to join a rally in Lviv to support the president.

The rally, due on Saturday, is supposed to condemn the emerging alliance between Tymoshenko and former Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, a pro-Russian figure, as both had joined forces to undermine Yushchenko and perhaps to change Ukraine’s foreign policy.
