Rada approves bill to boost by UAH 317.1-bln security, defense spending
KYIV, Oct 6 – The Verkhovna Rada on Friday supported at the final reading the bill (No. 10038) on amendments to the state budget 2023, which increased its expenses by UAH 317.1 billion, including UAH 302.6 billion of additional funding allocated for the security and defense sector, and the main source will be an increase in government borrowing by UAH 290.7 billion.
