Average natural gas import price reported up 3.4% in September

KIEV, Oct. 10 - The average customs value of gas imported by Ukraine in September was $407 per 1,000 cubic meters, which is 3.4% higher than in August ($393.50 per 1,000 cubic meters), according to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.

President signs law aimed at drug use in public establishments

KIEV, Oct. 7 – President Viktor Yanukovych has signed a law aimed at curbing illegal drug use at Ukraine’s night clubs, casinos and other public venues.

The law, which amends to Article 9 of the Ukrainian criminal code, was passed by Parliament on September 8.
