Government to spend UAH14 billion on weapons development in 2015

KIEV, March 10 – The Defense Ministry will allocate UAH 14 billion this year to develop armaments, several times the sum allocated last year.

"In 2015, under the budgetary figures, the Defense Ministry will allocate UAH 14 billion to develop armaments. This is almost one third of the defense budget," defense minister's spokeswoman Viktoria Kushnir said at a briefing in Kiev on Tuesday.
