PM: Ukraine can save 10 bcm of natgas using alternative energy

KIEV, Feb. 12 – The use of all alternative energy sources will help Ukraine save up to 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said.

"If we use the whole potential of renewable [energy] resources, we will then be able to replace up to 10 billion cubic meters of gas a year," she said at a council on the development of alternative energy sources in Kiev on Thursday.
