KIEV, Feb. 12 - Ukraine is expected in April to raise its first cash from selling carbon dioxide emission allowances internationally under the Kyoto Protocol, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said Thursday.

Ukraine, which is seen as one of the main beneficiaries of the Kyoto Protocol, may potentially raise billions of U.S. dollars from selling allowances.
