KIEV, July 12 - Ukraine and Russia at a summit on Thursday failed to make significant progress in talks over natural gas prices and supply volumes, but agreed to continue discussions later this year.


Court ruling paves way for Lytvyn ouster

KIEV, July 12 – The Constitutional Court on Thursday announced a ruling that makes it easier for lawmakers to replace the speaker of Parliament.

The ruling is a direct threat to Parliamentary Speaker Volodumyr Lytvyn, who now may be quickly replaced with a figure that would be more loyal to the ruling Regions Party.
