MOSCOW, Sept. 16 – Ukraine's statements about the upcoming negotiations with Russia regarding plans to make some adjustments to the two countries' existing gas agreements run contrary to the usual business practice, Russian Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko told reporters.

KIEV, Sept. 16 - The government will soon seek to approve regulations that would restrict sweeping gasoline and diesel price increases in the future, Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn said Wednesday.

The plans come after a special government commission has discovered price-setting “violations” in 120 gasoline retailers out of 132 that had been recently checked, he said.

KIEV, Sept. 16 – Rivneazot announced plans to realize a project worth $150 million on the construction of a new a carbamide production facility with a capacity of 500,000 tons per year.

The term for the realization of the project is estimated at 32-46 months.
