Ukrainian electricity consumption reported down 11.1% through Oct. 31

KIEV, Nov. 17 - Electricity consumption in Ukraine in January-October, including in-process losses on Ukrainian power grids, decreased by 11.1% compared to the same period in 2014, to 123.534 billion kilowatt-hours.


Nova Poshta delivery company launches service to over 200 countries

KIEV, Nov. 18 – Nova Poshta delivery company (Kiev) launched freight and mail delivery to over 200 countries on November 17.

Co-owner of the company Viacheslav Klimov said that international delivery has already been launched to Georgia and Moldova.


EU joins Japan in WTO action on Ukraine automobile import tariff

KIEV, Nov. 15 – The European Union has sent a request to join the consultations requested by Japan with the Ukrainian government under an agreement with the World Trade Organization (on safeguards in relation to duties on imported vehicles, introduced by Kiev on April 13.

Azarov in Hanoi working on An-148 aircraft supply agreement

HANOI, Nov. 16 – Ukraine and Vietnam are holding negotiations on supplies of An-148 aircraft, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.

"We have held specific talks on supplies of An-148 aircraft, as well as the modernization of the An-26 aircraft that are being used here," he told journalists in Hanoi on Friday.
