KYIV, April 19 – Ukraine’s natural gas transportation system is worth UAH 327.9 billion, or $12.6 billion, according to an appraisal approved by the national energy company Naftogaz Ukrayiny.

Exports to Kazakhstan fall 49% under weight of Russian restrictions

KIEV, April 18 – Ukraine's exports to Kazakhstan fell 49% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2016 due to Russia's transit restrictions imposed since the beginning of this year and 48% to the other countries in the region – Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan), according to a statement submitted by Ukraine to the World Trade Organization.
