KYIV, April 19 – Ukraine’s natural gas transportation system is worth UAH 327.9 billion, or $12.6 billion, according to an appraisal approved by the national energy company Naftogaz Ukrayiny.

The appraisal of Ukrtransgaz, the state-owned gas shipper, was approved by Naftogaz based on an audit report conducted global accounting firm Ernst & Young.

The appraisal was approved on April 12, and was recently made public by Deputy Head of the energy efficiency department of Naftogaz Oleksiy Khabatiuk.
