Egypt to remove Ukraine from list of wheat suppliers in 2013

CAIRO, Nov. 16 - Egypt, the world's largest importer of wheat, will remove Ukraine from the list of its wheat suppliers next year, as Kiev has announced plans to halt exports as of December 1, 2012, according to Egypt's General Authority for Supply Commodities.

Natural gas imports from Russia decrease slightly amid higher prices

Two Swedish companies start building facility to burn Donetsk trash

KIEV, Nov. 18 – Swedish companies Ecoenergy and Biogasprom have started building a facility in Donetsk which will burn garbage to generate heat and electricity.

The construction site is located in a industrial zone in the city, which is 1.5 km from the nearest residential houses and close to an operating electricity substation, reads a posting on Donetsk Mayor Oleksandr Lukianchenko's Web site.

OSCE calls upon Ukraine to dispose of rocket fuel in 3-4 years

KALYNIVKA (Vinnytsia region), Nov. 18 – The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe hopes that the disposal of the components of liquid rocket fuel (melange) in Ukraine will take three or four years.

OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine Lubomir Kopaj said this during the removal of the first consignment of melange from Kalynivka, Vinnytsia region, on Wednesday.
