KIEV, Nov. 19 – Ukraine has sent a proposal to the Shah Deniz consortium to use the Ukrainian gas transportation system and underground gas storage facilities for gas deliveries to Europe, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Boyko said on Inter television channel on Friday.

"We have officially lodged an application with the Shah Deniz consortium, which shows the benefits of our gas transportation system. And we pursue our policy here – that of gas supplies through our GTS and our storage facilities to Europe," the minister said.
