Experts predict poor reception for Ukraine UAH500 million eurobond
KIEV, April 17 – It is unlikely that the first issue of treasury bonds worth UAH 500 million planned by the Ukrainian government will be in great demand with the public, and it will not therefore be able to soak up excessive liquidity, according to experts of Ukrainian investment companies polled by Interfax-Ukraine.
The key reason for this is the unattractive interest rate on the bonds, the experts said. |
Ferrexpo wins 90% increase in new pricing deal for iron ore pellets
KIEV, April 17 - Ferrexpo plc mining company, which controls Poltava Mining (PGOK), reached an agreement with its main customers to raise prices on iron ore pellets by 90% started from April 1, the company said in a statement posted on its own website and filed with the London Stock Exchange (LSE) on Thursday. |
ISD-Dunaferr being investigated by EC over $37.4m of aid
KIEV, April 18 – The European Commission has opened an investigation into $37.4m given in aid to Hungarian steel producer ISD-Dunaferr, part of Donetsk-based Industrial Union of Donbas, according to an official report of the European Commission. |
