Vehicle production could drop 20% this year, according to trade group

KIEV, April 19 – Vehicle production in Ukraine in 2010 could fall by 20% compared to 2009, when 69,300 passenger cars, trucks and buses were assembled, according to the Ukrautoprom association.

Experts predict poor reception for Ukraine UAH500 million eurobond

KIEV, April 17 – It is unlikely that the first issue of treasury bonds worth UAH 500 million planned by the Ukrainian government will be in great demand with the public, and it will not therefore be able to soak up excessive liquidity, according to experts of Ukrainian investment companies polled by Interfax-Ukraine.

The key reason for this is the unattractive interest rate on the bonds, the experts said.


Poltava Gas & Oil Company reports 44.8% pretax profit increase

KIEV, April 17 – Poltava Gas & Oil Company's pretax profit for 2007, according to national tax accounting standards, was UAH709.575 million, which was 44.8%, or UAH219.546 million, up on the same period of 2006, the company said.


Ferrexpo wins 90% increase in new pricing deal for iron ore pellets
