First gas-to-coal projects will save $1.2 billion annually, PM says
KIEV, Aug. 29 - The implementation of the first five projects replacing natural gas with domestically produced coal will enable Ukraine to cut its gas imports by over 3 billion cubic meters and save around $1.2 billion annually, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov told the government on Wednesday. |
Ukraine looking to boost pipe quotas to Customs Union countries
KIEV, Aug. 29 – Ukraine hopes to increase quotas for the duty-free supplies of pipe to Customs Union member countries (Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) to 320,000 tons in 2013, according to Valeriy Muntiyan, the government envoy for cooperation with Russia, the CIS, EurAsEC and other regional associations. |
