Rapeseed planting still profitable despite glut, analyst says

KIEV, Aug. 19 – Rapeseed planting in Ukraine remains economically justifiable, despite the fall in the prices of rapeseeds due to the record rapeseeds and soybean harvest this year, Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting Chairman Ihor Burakovsky said.

Industrial production continued to fall in July, govt reports

KIEV, Aug. 20 - Industrial production in Ukraine in July shrank by 4.9% compared to July 2012, which was better than in June 2013 and May 2013, when the decline in industrial production was 5.7% and 9.3%, respectively, the State Statistics Service reported.
