EBRD mulling EUR100 million investment in Ukraine quarry operation

KIEV, Oct. 18 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is considering providing an equity investment of up to EUR 100 million to Lafarge Aggregates Eastern Europe, a regional holding vehicle to be created by Lafarge SA, to manage the existing quarry and distribution operations in Ukraine and pursue further developments in Ukraine, Russia, Serbia, Belarus and other selected EBRD countries of operations.
