Qatar’s Nebras to buy 50% of Khmelnytsky’s solar, wind power assets
KYIV, Jan 21 - The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) will review the applications of Nebras Power Investment Management B.V. (the Netherlands), a member of the Qatar group Nebras, for the acquisition of 50% and more in six companies operating solar and wind power plants of businessman Vasyl Khmelnytsky and his partners.

Ukraine cuts anthracite consumption 63% in past three years: Nasalyk
KYIV, Jan 21 – Ukraine in the past three years cut anthracite consumption by 63% thanks to the switch of units of thermal power plants (TPP) to long flame coal consumption, from 10.5 million tons in 2016 to 3.9 million tons in 2018, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Ihor Nasalyk said. |
