KYIV, Jan 20 – The government’s land reform plan is the single most transformative reform for the country that will make Ukraine the world’s major food exporter, Satu Kahkonen, the World Bank Director for Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine, said.

Kahkonen said the government had already done most of the preliminary work, such as correcting errors in the land cadastre, preparing for implementation, but it's unknown how many people will come out and sell their land as soon as the market opens, or how quickly the government will start selling state land, she sad.
