Motor Sich mulling turboshaft helicopter engine deal with PZL Swidnik

KIEV, May 20 – Motor Sich is mulling the possibility of supplying new MS-500V turboshaft engines of up to 950 horsepower for European helicopters that will be assembled at production facilities in Poland as a part of cooperation with Poland's PZL Swidnik.


Ukrtransnafta pumps 225,000 tons of crude to Kremenchuk refinery

KIEV, May 21 - The operator of trunk oil pipelines – public joint-stock company Ukrtransnafta – has pumped 225,000 tons of crude oil that fills sections of pipelines that are not used for oil pumping now to its oil refinery (Kremenchuk oil refinery).


Azovnash Group to supply new chemical tanker cars to AzMeCo

KIEV, May 20 – The Azovmash Group, a leading Ukrainian heavy engineering company, in 2013 plans to supply a large batch of newly designed tanker cars for chemicals, production of which will be started in the second half of 2013, to private company AzMeCo (Azerbaijan), reads a posting on the Azovmash's Web site.


Ukrzaliznytsia obtains estimates on Bedkydsky tunnel expansion

KIEV, May 21 – The State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia) has obtained an expert conclusion on the project for the construction of a new two-track Beskydsky railway tunnel, and the project will be sent to the Cabinet of Ministers for approval.


Ag ministry report calls for expansion of vineyards in Ukraine

KIEV, May 21 – The area of vineyards in Ukraine could be expanded by 1,000 hectares in 2013, the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine said in a report.

The ministry said that as of late 2012 the area of vineyards in the country stood at some 84,000 hectares.


Exporters will save EUR487 million on duties with EU, says official

American railroads group approves Interpipe quality management
