Companies urge Ukraine to impose duties on Russian diesel, LPG imports

KYIV, Jan 21 –Ukrnafta, JSC Ukrtatnafta and JSC Ukragzvydobuvannia have sent a joint statement to the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine in relation to the anticompetitive actions during supplies of Russian diesel fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and called for the introduction of duties on them in the amount of 8.46%, the press service of Ukrtatnafta has reported.

Ukrzaliznytsia seeks slower tariff hikes in 2019 on cargo shipments

KYIV, Jan 21 – Ukrzaliznytsia has reviewed downwards the indexation of tariffs for freight transportation in the financial plan for 2019, proposing to increase them by 14.2% from February 1, 2019, instead of earlier announced 16.6%, the company reported on Monday.


Ukraine imports $3.01-bln worth of natural gas in January-November

KYIV, Jan 21 - Ukraine in January-November 2018 imported 10.014 billion cubic meters of natural gas for a total of $3.015 billion, in particular in November some 1.012 billion cubic meters for $341.604 million, according to the State Statistics Service.


Ukraine reduces gas storage 29.1% to 12.1-bln cu m as of Jan 19

KYIV, Jan 21 – Ukraine since the beginning of the period of gas taking from the underground gas storage facilities (UGS), which started on November 7, 2018, and until January 19, 2019 had reduced its reserves by 29.1% (by 5.001 billion cubic meters), to 12.194 billion cubic meters, according to data from Ukrtransgaz.


Naftogaz to cut gas prices 3.3% for consumers that pay in advance

KYIV, Jan 21 – National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrayiny in February 2019 will cut the price of gas sold to industrial consumers who pay in advance by 3.3%, to UAH 10,460 per 1,000 cubic meters (VAT included).
