NBU chief hails revival of Ukraine banking sector profitability

KIEV, May 22 – The expansion of the resource base and a strong growth in profitability indicate the readiness of the banking system of Ukraine for increasing lending to the economy, National Bank of Ukraine chief Ihor Sorkin said.

Antonov may supply six An-32 planes to Iraq ahead of schedule

KIEV, May 20 – Antonov State Enterprise may supply six light An-32 planes under a contract with Iraq ahead of schedule.

Three out of the six aircraft have already been assembled in Ukraine but haven't been accepted by Iraqi side yet, Antonov Serial Plant Director Mykola Podhrebelny said.
