Ukrtatnafta to refine 300,000 tons of Azeri oil at Kremenchuk

KIEV, Nov. 23 – Ukrtransnafta, a monopolist in oil transportation in the country, has announced that Ukrtatnafta (Kremenchuk oil refinery, Poltava region) won a tender to refine around 300,000 tons of Azeri light oil at Ukrainian oil refineries in the fourth quarter of 2011 and the first quarter of 2012.


SBU security service announces drive to remove ‘parasitic’ officials

KIEV, Nov. 21 – The Security Service of Ukraine has announced a drive to remove corrupt officials from state agencies.

"We want to eliminate certain corrupt links, which parasitize on the state agencies system," an employee of the SBU's main department for fight against corruption and organized crime, Pavlo Kuzmenko, said.
