Donetsk confectionary factory halts operation as Russian trade tanks

KIEV, Feb. 21 – Work at Mariupol confectionary factory (Donetsk region) was stopped in February, the Roshen Corporation has reported.

The corporation said the factory was stopped due to politically motivated complications with the foreign trade relations of Ukraine.

New declarations to appear on medical import licenses, says official

Interpipe to complete electric furnace steelmaking complex this year

KIEV, Feb. 24 – Interpipe, Ukraine’s biggest steel pipe producer, plans to complete construction of an electric furnace steelmaking complex and will start tests of its equipment by the end of 2011, Interpipe said in a statement Thursday.


Installed electric power plant capacity reported up 0.4% in 2010
