Rosatom director: Ukraine to develop uranium field without Russia

Ukraine electricity imports down sharply in first four months

KIEV, May 21 – Ukraine in April to January cut electricity exports 1.266 billion kWh year-on-year to 1.063 billion kWh, the Fuel and Energy Ministry told Interfax-Ukraine.

Ukrainian electricity supplies to Slovakia in January to April 2009 grew 5.4 times or by 652.1 million kWh, to 799.5 million kWh, while electricity supplies to Hungary fell 5.3 times or by 934.1 million kWh, to 218.4 million kWh, and electricity supplies to Romania dropped by 4% or 1.8 million kWh, to 43.1 million kWh.


Naftogaz Ukrayiny wants foreign investment, official tells Shell Oil
