Ukrtransgaz may store hydrogen in Luhansk gas storage facility
LVIV, Sept 2 – Ukrtransgaz is studying the possibility of transferring the Krasnopopivske underground gas storage UGS facility (Luhansk region) to store hydrogen or its mixture with methane, Chief Engineer of the storage operator Volodymyr Rudko has said.

TAS Energy trader offers lowest natural gas prices in September
KYIV, Sept 2 - The lowest price of gas per cubic meter for the population in September, as well as in August, was offered by TAS Energy with UAH 4.39 per cubic meter, which is UAH 1.72 higher than its offer in the previous month, these are the results of research of the project Gas Truth (Gaz Pravda).

Ukraine’s budget revenue up 14.3% on year in August
KYIV, Sept 2 - State budget revenues in August rose to UAH 100.2 billion, which is 15.2% higher than the planned figure and 14.3% higher than last year's level, according to data from the State Treasury Service.

Ukraine’s Business Activity Expectations Index increases in August
KYIV, Sept 2 - The Business Activity Expectations Index, calculated by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), in August increased by 1 point (p.), to 47.9 after growing in July and June by 1.5 points and 9.6 points respectively, however, remains below the neutral value of 50 points and signals the prevalence of pessimistic business expectations.

NBU to keep interest rates at 6%: Poll
KYIV, Sept 2 - Ukraine’s central bank is likely to keep its key interest rate at the current level of 6% as it anticipates that a rise in the minimum wage will cause inflation to speed up in coming months even as the economy slows, a Reuters poll showed on Wednesday.

Businesses are optimistic over customs changes as reforms underway
KYIV, Sept 2 – Customs index through January-June for the first time since 2017 left the negative plane and reached a neutral indicator with 3.24 points (on a five-point scale) compared with 2.92 points in July-December 2018, according to the studies of the European Business Association (EBA). |
