Economy Ministry suggests banning scrap metal exports from Ukraine

KYIV, Oct 1 - The Ministry of Economy has published a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on a temporary - until the end of 2022 - ban on the export of scrap metal from the country, which has recently been insisted by the Ukrmetalurgprom association.


Ukraine’s Consumer Confidence Index up 2.4 to 73.7 in August: Info Sapiens

KYIV, Oct 1 - The Consumer Confidence Index of Ukrainians, after falling by 1.6 points in July, increased by 2.4 points in August - to 73.7 points on a 200-point scale, according to a study by Info Sapiens agency.

KYIV, Oct 2 – Kyiv's Shevchenkivsky District Court on October 1 ruled to recover UAH 1.539 billion from the former owner of Bank Finance and Credit, Kostiantyn Zhevaho, in favor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) to repay the bank's debt on the previously issued refinancing loans, the NBU said on its website.
