EBRD may lend government EUR450 million to improve Kiev roads

KIEV, Aug. 2 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is considering a sovereign loan of up to EUR 450 million in order to support the rehabilitation and upgrading of road approaches to Kiev and performance-based road maintenance contracts for the M-06 road, which will be introduced on a pilot basis in Ukraine.

The board date is fixed for September 28, the EBRD said in a statement on Monday.


Antonov and Ilyushin Finance to supply two jets to SE Asian country

KIEV, Aug. 2 – Ukraine's Antonov State Enterprise and Russia's Ilyushin Finance Co. leasing company have signed a contract for a supply of two An-148 regional jets, which will be assembled at the Antonov mass production plant, to a country in Southeast Asia in 2011.
