Financial regulator proposes amendments to forex trading rules

EBRD predicts 2013 inflation increase due to tariffs, exchange rates
KIEV, Feb. 5 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development anticipates that inflation in Ukraine in 2013 will grow due to a rise in tariffs for energy and an increase in the flexibility of the exchange rate, said Alex Pivovarsky Senior Economist for Eastern Europe at EBRD.

Antimonopoly Committee reduces fines for three filling station shains
KIEV, Feb. 3 – The Antimonopoly Committee has reduced the size of fines for three large filing stations chains to UAH 350,000-450,000 and imposed the same fines on another two chains as a part of a case on sharp increase of fuel prices in December 2010 and January 2011, Mykola Barash, a representative of the committee, said. |
